The SGOS has launched extensive and substantial cooperation with University of Oxford in the UK, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and University of Rochester in the USA, Freie Universität Berlin (FUB) in Germany and Waterloo University in Canada, offering doctoral, master and bachelor program, and has received financial support from the China Scholarship Council (CSC), National Science Foundation (NSF) and Nanjing University. Since 2012, the “Earth Environment Science Master Program” jointly hosted by the SGOS and FUB has recruited 8 students from the SGOS and FUB respectively every year, to attend courses in both China and Germany.
